At Dominican, each fashion student must complete at least one internship to graduate.

Students should allow plenty of time to research internship opportunities. Starting the process near the end of sophomore year should give you ample time to complete two or even more internships.

The more an internship meshes with your interests and long-term goals, the better its chances of turning into a permanent job at graduation.

There are many ways to find an internship, including:

• Browse the listings on Dominican’s Career Programs and Employer Relations website
• Talk to faculty members about their connections
• Take the initiative and contact an internship sponsor directly
• Study and complete an internship in New York City through our partnership with Kent State University
