Faith Elena Echeverria serves as an Advancement Officer at º£½ÇÉçÇø, where she manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, aligning their philanthropic interests with the university’s mission to prepare students to create a more just and humane world. In collaboration with her colleagues in the Office of Major Gifts, she helps secure critical resources that strengthen Dominican’s academic programs and expand opportunities for students. Previously, Faith served as Manager of Corporate and Community Relations in the Division of University Advancement, where she cultivated partnerships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and community-based organizations in support of the university’s strategic priorities. She also contributed to the Office of Grants Administration, helping to secure funding for institutional initiatives and operations. Faith has conducted original research on Dominican’s history as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), culminating in her forthcoming publication, Building on a Legacy of Service: Dominican’s History as an HSI, which will appear in a forthcoming institutional history anthology. Outside of work, Faith is a passionate sourdough baker, a visual artist, and a creative repurposer who enjoys giving new life to overlooked materials.
