Interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary gerontological research focusing on women鈥檚 issues, grandparents caring for grandchildren, loneliness, and older adult experiences. As a social worker, I am also interested in the intersection of research, social work practice (micro/macro), and social justice in social work education. My teaching and research interests include social justice education, gender studies, gerontology, direct practice with individuals, families, couples, and community-based participatory research through an intersectionality lens.
