Easterseals names Marcy Traxler MBA '13 Senior Vice President of Network Advancement聽

Easterseals has named Marcy Traxler MBA '13 Senior Vice President of Network Advancement at its Chicago-based national office. In this role, Marcy will develop and execute strategies to enhance the national capacity of Easterseals through sustainable growth and heightened impact in collaboration with its Network of 68 Affiliates across the country.
Marcy has more than 20 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. She most recently served as Vice President of Business Development and Service Line Strategy at AMITA Health System.
Marcy has served on numerous community steering committees and boards including the Alexian Brothers Women鈥檚 Board, Northwest Compass, and WINGs. She earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in program planning, policy and organization and an MBA from 海角社区's Brennan School of Business.

Marcy Traxler MBA 鈥13 recently started a new role as senior vice president of network advancement at the Chicago-based national office of Easterseals, a not-for-profit organization that provides resources for individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors and their families.
The new role represents a change of direction for Marcy. Before joining Easterseals, she spent more than 20 years working in hospital administration, most recently as vice president of business development and service line strategy at AMITA Health System.
鈥淚鈥檝e always had a passion for children鈥檚 health and health care for women,鈥 Marcy said. 鈥淏ut in my hospital roles, I didn鈥檛 always get to fulfill that mission-driven side of myself. For this part of my career, I wanted to do something where I could really make a difference.鈥
In her new role, Marcy works with the organization鈥檚 68 nationwide affiliates on strategies to grow Easterseals and enhance its capacity.
