Master of Science in Nutrition

Dominican鈥檚 M.S. in Nutrition combines a higher level of classroom education with practical research that enhances the development of your professional skills and your career.

The Master of Science in Nutrition strives to generate future leaders who will successfully enter the dietetics field as competent entry-level professionals.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of jobs for dietitians and nutritionists is projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, a rate much higher than average. And starting in 2024, the (CDR) will require a master鈥檚 degree for entry-level registered dietitians.

海角社区 is well positioned to meet this growing need. Since 2007, our mission has been to prepare dietetic students for the RD exam through our coordinated and certificate programs. Our program offers a strong foundation in community nutrition using innovative and engaging teaching strategies. Students receive hands-on opportunities to work with diverse low-income families and provide nutrition education while being instructed in evidence-based practices and developing leadership skills.
